Application Process
Applications are accepted at any time, even if there are no jobs labeled as "Actual" posted.
Each job posted will have a listing type, indicating if it is an "Actual" job opening or not an actual job opening (our District continually recruits in all areas).
You may choose to apply for one or more jobs, actual or not actual.
Just follow the instructions and complete your on-line application to the best of your ability; answer all questions and attach all required/related documentation.
Applications are considered current for a period of one year.

Application Process:
Certified Teaching/Administrative Application Process:
1. Complete the on-line application.
2. Attach all required documentation to your on-line application (or you may send to our office via email, fax, or postal mail).
The following documents are required to complete your application:
Letter of Application/Cover Letter
Current Resume
Copy of your Teaching/Administrative Certificate
Three Current Letters of Recommendation OR your College/University Placement File
Copy of your HOUSSE Rubric(s) or PRAXIS Exam Scores
Copy of your College/University Transcripts
Childcare and Preschool Application Process (through contracted provider, The Wood River Community YMCA).
Please visit the Wood River Community YMCA and follow their application process.
Classified Application Process (i.e. Clerical, Custodial, Maintenance, Paraprofessional, Technology,
Temporary Summer, etc.):
1. Complete the on-line application.
2. You may attach supporting documentation to your on-line application if you wish, but it is not required.
Guest (Substitute) Application Process:
1. Complete the on-line application.
Make sure you attach your application to ALL Guest positions you may be interested in.
If applicable, please attach a copy of your college/university transcripts/diploma or teaching certificate.
2. Complete Guest Forms - Fill-out electronically, print out, sign and submit original forms to our office.
3. Read the Guest Employee Handbook.
Please print off first page only, sign, and submit to our office.
4. Attend a Guest Orientation - held once monthly on the second Tuesday.
