Superintendent's Message

Welcome to Your Voice. Recently the Blaine County School District contracted with K12Insight, a national education company providing two-way communication through surveys. It might surprise some to know that last school year, the Blaine County School District sent over twenty surveys ranging from the Superintendent's evaluation to parent and student feedback for teacher evaluations.

Surveys provide two-way communication that is critical to our continuous improvement. Other ways include public comment at Board of Trustees meetings, Coffees with the Community, special Board of Trustee workshops, PTA meetings, committee meetings, and more. Now, Your Voice brings our surveys under one roof. We look forward to hearing from you on a number of upcoming topics throughout the year.

Teacher Survey

The Teacher Survey will open this week and close on Monday, February 11. Parents with current email addresses in Skyward will receive an invitation to complete a survey about each teacher who serves their child. This includes homeroom teachers, specialists, and social workers. If parents don't have access to email, they may request paper surveys at the front desk of their school. The survey was designed by teachers from the Blaine County Education Association and administrators from the Blaine County School District. The survey is conducted by an independent third party, K12 Insight, and all answers are confidential. The intent is to receive constructive feedback that will improve the educational outcomes for children. Click here to see the letter from Dr. Lonnie Barber.
