 The partnership between Blaine County School District and Mountain Rides is only applicable when school is in session and does not include holidays, weekends, or school breaks. With SPRING BREAK and SUMMER BREAK approaching, Blaine County School District students can purchase Bus Passes at a discount:

 The 2012-2013 School Year Calendar was approved by the Board of Trustees at the Regular March Board Meeting. The first day of school will be Tuesday, September 4th.

Children's Arts Festival this Weekend

 The Wood River Arts Alliance presents the 5th annual Children's Arts Festival on March 17, 2012. The Blaine County School District is one of the sponsors for the event,
providing the venue and contributing artwork to the student show.
Free event for grades K-5 at the Community Campus, Hailey. Opening performance: Idaho Dance Theatre's A Galaxy of Dance at 9:30 am in the gym. Valley-wide student art show. Two class sessions at 10:30 and 11:30. Class size is limited and registration is required. Registration starts at 8:45. For more information and the class schedule CLICK HERE.

Students Discuss Politics with NPR Political Editor Ken Rudin

NPR Political Editor Ken Rudin visited Hailey recently with Boise State Public Radio. NPR and Boise State Public Radio are collaborating on a project called StateImpact, designed to focus on how the actions of state government affect people and their communities. Students from Wood River High School and Silver Creek School were invited to participate in a discussion with Rudin at a private reception. Read more here...

Wood River High School Robotics Team Competes at Intermountain Regional Championships

 The Wood River High School Robotics Team competed at the intermountain regional championships last weekend in Logan, Utah at Utah State University. The regional championships are invitation only based on the team’s performance during the regular season. It was also the qualifying tournament for the world championships.
