 Wood River High School students James Petzke and Sean Sutton competed in the National Leadership Conference competition of Business Professionals of America (BPA) in Chicago, Illinois. Their event, Web Application Team, placed 3rd at the national level.

Music Students Stand Out

 Over 160 musicians, the choirs, orchestras, and bands from Wood River High School, attended the Heritage Music Festival on April 14 in Anaheim, California. All of the participating groups won awards for their performances, competing among over 2600 students from around the United States.  Students in Betty Ervin’s Studio Art class at Wood River High School responded to that question with drawings of their role models. Subjects ranged from parents to rock stars.
