Week of May 27th Mr. Peck presents distinguished student awards to Mckayla Mecham, Jaide Parke, Morgan Parke and Glen Andrews at the awards ceremony last week. Other awards presented at the ceremony were  for track, drama and citizenship, as well as scholarships for the graduating seniors. Bulletin May 27-June 1

Week of May 20th Carey students participate in the Parade of Athletes at the state track meet in Meridian last weekend. The Girls team (district champions!) took 8th place overall out of 34 teams with the following individual and relay results: Jaide Parke- 1st in 3200 meter Jaide Parke- 4th in 1600 meter Daphne, Claire, Kelsey, Medin         4th in Medley Relay Jaide Parke- 5th in 800 meter Mckayla, Daphne, Arrianna, Kelsey         5th in 4x100 relay Mckayla, Lilly, Kelsey, Medin         5th in 4x200 relay Hailee Johnson- 8th in long jump Lilly Rivera- 11th in 800 meter Francisco (Poncho) Gamino and Luis Garcia represented the Boys team and took 9th place in the shot put and long jump respectively. Week of May 13th Students perform "Stright from the Horses Mouth," the last production to be put on by Mr. Ken Mecham. Mr. Mecham will be retiring at the end of this year after 40 years of service to the students of Carey School. THANK YOU MR. MECHAM! Bulletin May 13-17 Carey Connection May 2013
