News and Announcements...

Chemistry Students Have Outstanding Final Exam

The chemistry class at Carey School is a dual credit class offered through CSI.  As such, the final exam is provided and proctored by CSI.  The exam is a nationally 'normed' ACS (American Chemical Society) exam.  This year the class average on the final exam ranked at the 94th percentile!  What an amazing performance!!  Congratulations to the chemistry class of 2009, your teacher is VERY proud of you!

Schools OUT!!

It is hard to believe, but it is that time of year again.  Some years go by fast, some years don't.  This year went by like a bolt of lightening!  It was a great year here at Carey School that ended last night with a great graduation ceremony.  Congratulations to the graduating seniors!  The faculty and students of Carey School, have a WONDERFUL summer!

Student Council Perfoms Roadside Cleanup

The clean-up crew

Every year the Student Council at Carey School does a clean-up of a portion of highway 20.  This year was no exception.  Last Saturday morning (May 9th), members of the Student Council (not all of them, unfortunately) met at Miss Young's house for this year's clean-up activity.  It is always nice to have this project complete. It is always a source of amazement at how much people take our beautiful world for granted as evidenced by what is simply thrown out on the side of the road.  Thanks to the Student Council for keeping up a long-held, very worthwhile tradition!

It seems like Brad is always surrounded by a group of girls!
