CONGRATULATIONS Boys and Girls Track!! Saturday afternoon found Carey track team members filling the podium at State Track to receive their medals for both individual and relay events. The boys 4x200 relay team set a new school record with a time of 1:33.02, beating the record or 1:33.6, set in 1983.

Congratulations to Mr. Mecham, the recipient of the "My Favorite Teacher" award, presented by Barnes and Noble! Aimee Rodriguez wrote an essay telling why Mr. Mecham is her favorite teacher. She submitted the essay to Barnes & Noble, and it was chosen from all the essays written in Idaho. The essay has been sent to Texas to enter the Regional contest, where, if selected, it will go on to a national contest.
