About Hailey Elementary
We are the Hailey Comets...

Hailey Elementary School, home
of the Comets, is an exciting learning environment of
approximately 488 students from preschool to fifth grade. Our
students are served by a skilled and enthusiastic staff of 23 certified teachers, 15 special services
teachers, and a classified support staff of 17 highly trained paraprofessionals.
Our programs range from Gifted and Talented to Dual Immersion.
They include English as a Second Language students as well as special needs students.
All students receive weekly special instruction in Art, Music, Technology, Computer
Skills and PE. Our library maintains over 18,000 books and has a monthly circulation
of about 4,000 books, which demonstrates our focus on literacy for all students.
We have a very strong and involved PTA. Parents can be found volunteering on a
daily basis in any capacity that supports the mission and vision of this family-oriented community.
We hope you don the school colors of green and black and come visit
to learn for yourself how special Hailey Elementary School really is. Athletics and Extracurricular Programs
Students are notified of all local sports programs that are offered in the community.
Parents should be sure and look at the weekly folders that come home with your child.
Occasionally, the school will offer enrichment programs, such as drama, art, etc.

school. Teri McKenna can be reached by calling the main office
