"Leader In Me"

    WELCOME  EVERYONE!

Hailey Elementary School is embarking on an exciting new journey. We have adopted the "Leader In Me" program. This program is designed to develop essential life skills needed to thrive in the 21st century. This program will develop character, leadership, improve academic achievement and unleash student's talents. It honors students' worth and potential by creating a generation of leaders, one child at a time.

The program centers on teaching children the 7 Habits of Effective People. If a child learns to implement these habits in their daily life, they will build the self confidence and interpersonal skills to succeed as leaders in the 21st Century.
The program strives to:

*elevate student achievement     *improve problem solving
*increase student engagement  *improve communication skills
 *increase parent satisfaction  *embrace teamwork
 *increase accountability  *improve creativity

Everyone at HES is excited to partake in this fantastic opportunity. So we welcome you to come to parent night or PTA meetings and learn more about the new culture at Hailey Elementary School.

3rd Graders Celebrate Arbor Day...

The 3rd Grade Can Crushers for Trees have been
busy recycling cans since January. With our
 hard work and effort we
were able to help purchase three trees to plant
and improve our school’s landscape. The trees were
planted on Arbor Day, April 30th with the help of
 Mark Spencer (Native Landscapes) and
Fred Cristman (Whitehead Landscape).
Many thanks to all our parents who helped transport cans
to Twin Falls to trade them in for cash.
