Hailey Elementary teachers have been working hard this week preparing their classrooms for the up and coming first day of school on  August 25th! We hope everyone has had a wonderful summer break. We are excited to meet our new students and look forward to an outstanding school year.

School starts Aug. 25th!
Students may not enter school without proof of residency!
Please stop by the office to complete your registration with Jane on August 18th, 19th, 20th and the 22nd this week between 8am and 3pm.

Class Lists will be posted on the front doors by the office
 at 9:00 AM on Monday, August 18th at Hailey Elementary School!

Parents will need to come in and provide several forms
 of proof of residency in August. Details will be forthcoming.

Registration for new students to the district will be
August 12th, between 9am and 12pm.
You can find and print registration forms to the right under "Quick Links", or get them at the main office.
New students can be registered with the school secretary Jane Dyndiuk any morning.
Office hours are 8am to 12pm beginning July 14th.
Mrs. Dyndiuk will NOT be in the office on August 8th and 11th.

Don't forget to print your student's classroom supply list!

You can buy most of your supplies at the Hailey Elementary PTA School Store! The PTA School Store will be open on August 18th-22nd from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The store will also be open the first three days of school from 7:30 am to 8:15 am, so come and "Stock Up" for that first day of school on August 25th!

Dear Parents, Families, Students, Staff and Friends,

What a GREAT year! We have covered a lot of material and participated in many fun and exciting projects here at Hailey Elementary School. We made many new friends along the way, too. Your children brought such joy and happiness to our classrooms! It was our pleasure getting to know not only your child, but you as well. Having parental support and open lines of communication are an essential part of any successful school year. Thank you for all you have done to make our year so fulfilling and memorable. As summer approaches and school comes to an end, don't forget to come back and visit our school website to find a classroom supply list for next fall, and check out any  updated information as it gets closer to the new school year! Have a GREAT and SAFE summer! Please enjoy some of the end of the year photos!

HAILEY ELEMENTARY STUDENTS ROCK!

We have successfully completed our Safe Routes to School Walk or Bike to School Month. Hailey Comets had 83 students submit trip trackers for 2,736 trips. Winner of Mountain rides "Outstanding Achievement Award" to be presented at the final school assembly on Friday at 8:30 am. Who won the bike?????

On May 16th, there were 135 bikes in the racks! If we add in 30-40 walkers, we had over 50% of students walking or biking to school! "Reducing their carbon footprint!"
