Have you heard the Skype hype? What is Skype? Skype is a software application that allows you to make telephone calls over the internet. Skype to Skype calling is free, and lots of schools around the world are using it to Skype other classrooms. Teachers can use Skype to collaborate with other classrooms  across the globe to work on projects.

We started introducing Skype to our teachers and students in the Computer Lab this trimester. Kids are having a blast--we have been sharing information about our state, our school and our town.
