Professional and Technical Curriculum
The career technical focus for Professional and Technical
Education is determined by an
analysis of the local labor market, with an eye toward fields
that are growing and healthy, that offer jobs with career
"ladders," and that have technical curriculum as a key
ingredient.
Our Professional and Technical Education curriculum follows a sequence of courses specific
to each program. Current state approved competency-based
curriculum is used. An Individual Educational Plan (IEP)
developed by our Special Services, with participation by
Professional Technical Education (PTE), identifies adaptations,
accommodations, modifications, interests, and career goals for
the special needs of the students.
