| Power Engineer Grant to WRMS Technology & Engineering |

Power Engineers has once again been generous enough to provide financial assistance to the Technology and Engineering program at Wood River Middle School. The money from this grant will go towards phase 2 of the Sustainable Energy Vehicle. Students are designing an electric vehicle that is powered by two 36 volt battery banks. The battery banks will be charged for solar panels mounted on the top of the SEV. Upgrades and additions this year include disc brakes, hub mount motors, acceleration/braking petals, and an improved chassis that was designed from anthropometric data gathered by the Advanced Technology class.
