Woodside FAMILY PAJAMA READING NIGHT!
Woodside will be hosting our first Family Pajama Reading Night!
Come with your family, wear your pj's, and BRING A BOOK.
Local author Bill Pereira will be here to read his book The Adventures of LC, Lucky Calf.
There will be a game room, a 'reading with your family' room, story time room,
and for parents who are interested, a literacy talk in the Library.
It will be loads of fun, so be sure to be here on February 23rd!

We want to get parent input on a Reading Night, Math Night, and Movie Night.

Footlight Dance in the Schools/Baile de Tablas Rítmicas en las Escuelas
 Footlight Dance Centre will perform at Woodside Elementary on Friday, February 3 at 9:00. We will see a variety of dances, from ballet to modern, with many other dance styles demonstrated as well. Don't miss this wonderful demonstration by talented dance students in the Wood River Valley!
El centro de danzas rítmicas tendrá una presentación en las escuela primaria Woodside el viernes, 3 de Febrero del 2012 a las 9:00. Veremos una variedad de danzas, desde ballet hasta danzas modernas, con demonstraciones de otros estilos de danza también. ¡No se pierda esta maravillosa demostración de estudiantes de danza talentosos en el Valle de Wood River!

Collaboration Day: Early Release Friday, January 13, and Friday,February 10
Friday, January 13, and Friday, February 10 are Early Release / Collaboration Days. School will dismiss 2 hours early, at 12:30.

Winter Sports Program in February
The Woodside Elementary Winter Sports Program will take place on February 7th, 8th and 9th. This is a great chance for your child to participate in outdoor winter activities. Forms for enrollment, insurance, etc., have been sent home with your child. Please make sure that they are returned to school as soon as possible.
Ski rental day is Monday, February 6th.
Please note that our school hours do not change during the Winter Sports Program. All students will come to school and leave at the regular time. Please do not bring your child to school early.
