What: Ice Skating, Fun and Food while it lasts!
Ice skates will be available on a 'first come, first served' basis.

 Woodside PTA Meeting February 17 at 7pm in the library. Join us for a quick presentation about what our kids are doing in their computer classes.

Collaboration Day, Early Dismissal Friday January 29
The school district successfully piloted early student release days during the spring of 2009, and will continue with them during the 2009-2010 school year. The purpose of these early release days is to provide school staffs with valuable time to collaborate on issues critical to the success of your students.
Our next such early release day will occur Friday, January 29, 2010. Student will be released two hours early from school that day (12:30 for Woodside students), as well as on the following days throughout the school year:

President's Day Holiday
 We will celebrate President's Day on Monday, February 15. There will be no school on that day. Classes will start at our regular time on Tuesday, February 16.

Winter Sports Program in February/Programa de Deportes de Invierno en Febrero
The Woodside Elementary Winter Sports Program will take place on February 9, 10, and 11th. This is a great chance for your child to participate in outdoor winter activities. Forms for enrollment, insurance, etc., have been send home with your child. Please make sure that they have been returned to school at this time.
Please note that our school hours do not change during the Winter Sports Program. All students will come to school and leave at the regular time. Please do not bring your child to school early.

Footlight Dance in the Schools/Baile de Tablas Rítmicas en las Escuelas
 Footlight Dance Centre will perform at Woodside Elementary on Tuesday, February 2 at 1:00. We will see a variety of dances, from ballet to modern, with many other dance styles demonstrated as well. Don't miss this wonderful demonstration by talented dance students in the Wood River Valley!
El centro de danzas rítmicas tendrá una presentación en las escuela primaria Woodside el martes, 2 de Febrero del 2010 a las 1:00. Veremos una variedad de danzas, desde ballet hasta danzas modernas, con demonstraciones de otros estilos de danza también. ¡No se pierda esta maravillosa demostración de estudiantes de danza talentosos en el Valle de Wood River!
