Congratualations Mckayla Mecham!
McKayla Mecham earned a Silver Key award from the first ever Idaho Scholastic Art and Writing Awards Competition. Her drawing will hang in the Art Source Gallery in Boise for the month of February.

Week of January 23rd
 
Carey's Panther Buddies Program is designed to have high school students step into a leadership/mentor role for the 3rd and 4th grade students. Each high school buddy is paired up with one or two elementary students for the duration of the basketball season. Buddies are encouraged to have frequent contact throughout the season through the exchange of notes. One day of the season, the Buddies have a special lunch where they eat together and then spend the lunch recess participating in activities in the gym. At the last home game of the season, all of the Panther Buddies are presented to the crowd and then gather on the court for a picture. We appreciate the work of each Panther Buddy in making this a special program!
