2021 marks my 19th year as a Language Arts teacher at Wood River Middle School. Teaching has always been my "dream job," and I truly love what I do. I graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Language Arts and from Walden University with a Masters in Literacy Education. I am originally from Seattle, WA which makes me a passionate Seattle sports fan. I love living in the Wood River Valley and have lived here since 1999. My interests outside of school include reading (of course!), hiking, and traveling.

    I hope everyone has had a relaxing extended summer!  I know it's never easy to come back to school after such a long break, but I am very excited to meet all of you and get to know you better! It's a brand new school year, and everyone gets a fresh start, so I am determined to make this the best school year EVER!!  Enjoy the last few days of summer!  See you on the first day of school!
