Sun Valley Center for the Arts

  • We are excited to be able to offer many culturally diverse opportunities to our BES students provided by the Sun Valley Center for the Arts.

    Students

Working with the schools is a fundamental part of The Center’s mission.  The Center makes it a priority to bring world-class artists and scholars to even the youngest members of our community.  The Center hosts classroom field trip experiences that can excite a student to explore a new art form or give a youngster his or her first chance to witness live dance.   These photos are just two examples of the center's involvement with Bellevue Elementary School.

    Stages of Wonder

The Sun Valley Center for the Arts also houses Stages of Wonder, a favorite program of our elementary school-age children that explores creativity expressed through the theatrical arts. For many students, Stages of Wonder is often a student's first and only contact with the dramatic arts.  Facilitated by specially-trained Company of Fools artists, Stages of Wonder brings together storytelling, role-playing, theatre games and exercises designed specifically for each grade level.

Don't miss the upcoming Family Days at the Center in Ketchum.  All ages are welcome and many activities require adult friends and family to provide hands-on assistance for the young artists they are accompanying. No registration necessary.
