    PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY

    Optimal student academic achievement and social-emotional competence can be achieved by utilizing proactive, positive, explicit and evidence-based teaching strategies. 

     

    VISION

    Every student in the B.A.S.E. Program will develop life-long skills that empower them to: 1. be self-aware of their personal strengths and needs, 2. advocate for themselves, 3. responsibly manage their behaviors, and 4. use social and interpersonal skills to experience meaningful relationships and to achieve school, and life successes.  

     

    MISSION

    The mission of the B.A.S.E. Program is to assure that, within a nurturing, safe and supporting environment, each student is provided with skills and experiences that enable them to reach their fullest potential as empowered independent thinkers and engaged caring community members.
