I have been fortunate to work at Alturas since 2015! I am so happy to have moved to the beautiful Wood River Valley, from Kentucky the summer of 2015! 

I began my college education at the University of Kentucky and graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a bachelor's in Elementary Education as well as Special Education. I taught two years of Special Education in Kentucky before moving to Idaho. Since joining the Alturas family, I've had the opportunity to teach both 5th grade and 3rd grade. I'm extremely excited to return to Special Ed in the fall of 2022 to help students with different learning needs!
