Students Encourage Positive Changes for Earth Day
The Wood River High School W.A.T.E.R. Club is excited to announce that in partnership with the Blaine County Education Foundation, students purchased 1,200 reusable bags. Club adviser Erika Greenberg wrote, “The bags are 100% made of plastic bottles. Members of the club will be giving the bags out at local grocery stores on Earth Day. The goal is to spread the club's mission to educate and empower our community to make positive changes for our environment.” The students are collaborating with Blaine County to promote recycling services in addition to giving bags away. Look for them at local grocery stores next Monday, April 22 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Earth Day!
