On September 4, 2019, we took our third graders to the top of Baldy to get a bird's eye view of the Wood River Valley. This was an exciting introduction to our Community History Unit. The Sun Valley Company generously donated tickets for us to ride the gondolas and chairlifts to the top. Our students, teachers, parent volunteers, and guest speaker, Ralph Harris, are grateful for the unique opportunity to see our valley from this perspective. Students sketched our valley in their Steam Journals while listening to interesting facts from Ralph Harris who is a former ski instructor and current artist. Enjoy these photos from their day on the mountain. Thanks to Andrea Reid for sharing her photos!
