No Snow Days for BCSD Buildings and Grounds
The Buildings and Grounds team is responsible for 875,000 square feet of buildings in the Blaine County School District. While parking lots and other large areas are contracted for snow removal, all other snow removal is the responsibility of this team. When it snows, these men and women are often outside moving snow from the school grounds starting at 2:00 a.m. on both weekdays and weekends. Not only do they remove snow, but they also keep our school buildings maintained inside and out. The team includes Tom Alexander, Tony Brown, Jim Chatterton, Brian Clore, Scott Davis, Mike Hepworth, Jose Hernandez, Clara Martin, Don Perkins, Ken Ward, Buddy Wendel and Director of Buildings and Grounds, Howard Royal. Thank you to the Buildings and Grounds team, as well as our hard working custodians!
