When Mother Nature Doesn’t Cooperate, We Work Together
When Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate, we work together. The City of Hailey road department has been working around the clock to keep up with the continual snowfall and precipitation. Last week, the Blaine County School District Buildings and Grounds crew worked with the City of Hailey to clear the sidewalks on Woodside so that students (and the community) could walk safely to and from school and bus stops. BCSD Buildings and Grounds also worked with the City of Bellevue to clear the Safe Routes to School path to Bellevue Elementary.
The cities and county have been great partners with Blaine County School District in working collaboratively to help each other with equipment, logistics and information. We are grateful to the County and City of Carey, Bellevue, Ketchum and Sun Valley road crews. It takes a village to get through the challenges and keep our students, staff and community as safe as possible. Thank you!
