The Wood River High School and Middle School Drama Departments Present Louisa May Alcott’s LITTLE WOMEN
Wood River High School and Middle School drama departments invite you to attend a production of the
the collaborative effort, Little Women, adapted by Thomas Hischak and based on the novel by Louisa May
Alcott.
Directed by Karl Nordstrom and Middle School drama teacher Christine Leslie, the production of nearly
40 student actors and young theater practitioners have been a joy for them to direct. A challenge to find a
role for all levels of talent and skill, the students have shined with total buy-in with the project. It has
been a learning process for all as they have navigated a 6-week rehearsal process trying to keep all
engaged and inspired by the famous story.
