Tools for Life
Residential Construction Academy students received a boost recently from Black Rhino Tools and the Wood River Valley Building Contractors Association. The company provided new tools and winter jackets for the programs at Wood River and Carey High Schools. All seniors who graduate from the Construction Academy will receive new tools and a tool belt. Sue Woodyard, who helped coordinate the donation along with Ed Lawson and Jeff Smith, told the students, "These tools represent an investment in your future. After graduation, whether obtaining a job or going on to higher training or education, you will be equipped with important lifetime skills in construction."
