School Lunch Fees
During a public hearing on Tuesday, April 10, the Board of Trustees voted to increase all meals by a minimum of 10% rounded to the nearest nickel starting on August 27, 2018 as detailed in the following table.

The interest of a price increase is rooted in the effort to help off-set a portion of the subsidy that is provided by the General Fund each year. The upper limit on that subsidy per our contract with Chartwells is about $288,000, while in the 2016-17 year the total subsidy was $251,000 (rounded).
