The BCSD Board of Trustees is pleased to recognize Wes Sphar, our athletic trainer at Wood River High School!
The following accolade was submitted by Dr. Chad Johnson, Medical Director of Sports Medicine at St. Luke’s:
“Recently, one of my orthopedic surgery colleagues in Boise took care of an athlete from your school. She was very impressed with Wes’ professionalism. She remarked that he went above and beyond to make sure this athlete got the appropriate care they needed. He was excellent with his communication and documentation to the surgical team, and ultimately this led to a superb coordinated effort in the care of this student-athlete.
I have been able to work with Wes on the sidelines, as well, and enjoy my professional relationship with him. We believe that having an athletic trainer at the high school level is a valuable resource.”
