The BCSD Board of Trustees is thrilled to recognize Carey School Teacher Ryan Smith!
The following accolade was submitted by Carey School Teacher Lindee Williams.
"I would like to recognize Ryan Smith of Carey School. To start with, Ryan teaches more classes than I can count on my fingers, but each class is infused with his creative touch that engages our students in learning. In those classes, our students have earned multiple industry-level certifications which he proudly displays in his classroom.
He is an expert BPA coach who has guided so many of our students to the state and national competitions. This is a HUGE opportunity for our small-town students.
He works so hard to prepare a yearbook for our 7-12th grade students which is a Herculean effort in itself.
On top of all that, Ryan’s students all know that he truly cares about them because he shows up for them in so many ways. He shows authentic interest in their interests, their families, and their concerns. We are tremendously lucky to have Ryan as a member of our team.”
