The BCSD Board of Trustees is delighted to acknowledge Tod Gunter in his role as the School Social Worker at Hailey Elementary School!

Tod’s dedication to our community is truly inspiring. From hosting meetings and organizing critical responses, he works tirelessly behind the scenes—all while volunteering his time during his holiday break. He does it all because he genuinely cares about the wellbeing of our youth, families, and schools.  

Tod is actively involved in organizations throughout our valley that promote the wellbeing of youth, adults, and families. Recently, he stepped up during a local crisis, volunteering his time and expertise to provide vital support. During the crisis, Tod hosted meetings to assess the needs of various groups, made phone calls, coordinated the response of the BCSD’s psychological first aid team, held community gatherings staffed by BCSD and other local mental health professionals, and provided education and resources to those in need.

Tod’s commitment to serving others is a true testament to his character. He is an incredible asset not only to the Blaine County School District, but also to the larger community. Thank you, Tod, for your dedication and constant support of our students!
