The BCSD Board of Trustees is thrilled to recognize Ernest Hemingway STEAM School Engineering and Design Teacher Scott Slonim!

The following accolade was submitted by BCSD Alumna Emily Stone:

Many of my favorite elementary memories were from the projects I did with Mr. Slonim: bottle rockets, dream home architectural models, balloon cars, the morning news program, the Star Lab, commercials for the recycling program, time spent building things with K'Nex, and video editing. I especially loved getting to come in early on cold winter days to use the flight simulator!

I recently completed an internship at Apple working on Final Cut Pro X. I was better prepared for the multimedia class in college because of the video editing I learned from your instruction.

Thank you for all you do! Your impact on our students is life changing.
