Dr. Erin Crawford from Sawtooth Equine in Bellevue, came to Silver Creek. She explained the evolution of the horse and the horse hoof. Students had the opportunity to see the dissection of the hoof and how it evolved over few million years. A few brave students even had a chance to cut into the different tendons and learn about connective tissues.
