    Congrats to our Regional Champions: The Misfit Toys got 2nd place in the Regional Tournament in Burley on Friday, April 11th. And the Seagulls won third!

  • CONGRATS to our Robotic Teams!
    On Friday February 28th Blaine County School District’s Robotics program hosted the Idaho State VEX IQ Robotics Championship at the Blaine County Community Campus Gym in Hailey Idaho. Wood
    River Middle School won the Middle School Excellence Award and will represent Blaine County and the state of Idaho at the World Robotics Competition in Dallas Texas.

    Wood River Middle School’s team “Intergalactic” team, coached by Jeremy Silvis, won the Idaho Middle School Excellence award and team members include: Jake Blacker, Jesse Green, Hiram
    Johnson, and Jasper Potts. WRMS’s 6th grade team “The Timmy’s” of Luca Hausske, Hudson Coshow and Tyler Silvis won the Robot Skills Challenge and Teamwork Challenge. The
    “Automation Avengers” team consisting of Greyson Siegel, Colton Beacham, Leo Molinaroli won the Innovate Award.

  • Congrats to our own Patrick Kinney who was featured in our district newsletter!  At Wood River Middle School, Patrick Kinney is the top advocate for many students. He leads the multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) program, a school-wide structure of resources designed to equitably support the academic progress of all students.
