Liz Clark - Transition Coordinator

  • Before working for BCSD, I spent most of my professional career in the exercise, sports and wellness world. As an ex- collegiate and European pro athlete with degrees in Exercise Science and Sports Management, it was natural to work as the Wellness Director at the Wood River Community YMCA, then as a Clinic Manager & Assistant to a local sports doctor and orthopedic surgeon, and then work as Director of Player Development for Oregon State University's Final Four Women's Basketball program. Somewhere along the line I was able to earn my Masters Degree in Education, conducting my research on First Generation Students on a Global Scale and becoming a certified teacher in Health and Physical Education. I love the great outdoors, finding the best Mexican food around, and my family.

I am grateful to serve our students as a Transition Coordinator. Transitioning beyond high school is an exciting first step in becoming who you want to be! Navigating the nuances of life after school is tricky business, and I'm lucky to be a part of the process.
