Carey School is located in south central Idaho between Idaho Falls and Boise. We serve the rural communities of Carey and Picabo.

We proudly teach and live the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and provide a variety of courses and programs which include Math, English, Science, Social Studies, ESL, Technology, World Language, Business, P.E., Music, and Art.  Our senior class usually graduates with around 200 college credits and a couple of years ago, two of our students graduated from the College of Southern Idaho two weeks before graduating from Carey School.  We offer dual credit classes in Senior English, Success 101, US History, College Algebra and Trig., and Biology.  We also offer AP classes in Calculus, and Art. 

Our Residential Construction Academy offers hands-on experience in the building trade. The Carey School students have built six houses and the district has sold all of them.

We have 25 certified teachers, one counselor, one librarian, two secretaries, and 5 classified staff members who work hard to provide the very best education for our students from preschool to 12th grade.

Carey students have the opportunity to graduate with a very good education, ready for their next challenge, whatever that might be.
