I started my teaching career with five years in Klamath Falls, Oregon. I taught two years of 1st/2nd grade and three years of 4th grade. I then took off eight years to stay home to raise my children. In 2008, I earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Reading and Literacy through Walden University. I began teaching all-day kindergarten at Carey School, in 2010, for one year. I then moved to the 4th grade in 2011 and absolutely love it! I'm also the YMCA After School Club Coordinator. In the spring, I help coach high school track and field. My three children are all raised. My two girls are college graduates! My son is currently in Wisconsin serving a church mission for two years. Our family enjoys many recreational activities together, such as boating, camping, hunting, running and hiking.  We also love attending various sporting events and cheering on the Carey Panthers!
