Former Carey Alumnus, Adolfo Andazola-Carmona, spoke to the ENGL 101 class about his journey--from being a newcomer in Carey learning English to getting accepted into medical school. He shared pivotal moments of failure and success, the importance of making connections, not following someone else's recipe book, and setting ambitious goals. Oh, and he even offered a little investing advice. It was a great way to jumpstart the year.
