Hello,

My name is Rosa T. Segura, I am from Peru. I moved to this beautiful country in 2004. I started my education to becoming an Elementary Teacher at the College of Southern Idaho in 2008. Then in 2012, I transferred to Lewis-Clark State College, where I finished all my courses in Elementary Education in Spring 2016. I worked as an ENL paraprofessional at Woodside Elementary from 2008 to 2016. I am currently part of the amazing family at Alturas Elementary. At Alturas Elementary, I work from 2016 to 2021 as a Spanish Kindergarten teacher and for the last three years I have been teaching second grade. It has been a beautiful experience full of joy and love. My passion is to teach and make a difference to my students.

Mi nombre es Rosa T. Segura, soy de Perú. Me mudé a este hermoso país en el 2004. Comencé mi educación para convertirme en maestra de primaria en el College of Southern Idaho en 2008. Luego, en 2012, me transfirí a Lewis-Clark State College, donde terminé todos mis cursos de educación primaria en primavera de 2016. Trabajé como asistente docente de ENL en la Primaria Woodside del 2008 al 2016. Actualmente, soy parte de la increíble familia de la Primaria Alturas. En la Primaria Alturas trabaje del 2016 al 2021 como maestra de jardín de infantes de español y durante los últimos tres años he estado enseñando segundo grado. Ha sido una hermosa experiencia llena de alegría y amor. Mi pasión es enseñar y marcar la diferencia en mis alumnos.
