¡Hola! My name is Luis Monjaras. I am currently a fourth grade teacher. I teach Math and Language Arts in Spanish. My students call me Mr. M and for those students who can say my last name do call me Sr. Monjaras. I graduated from Sonoma State University with a B.A. in Liberal Studies. After graduating from SSU in 2001, I started teaching in Watsonville, California as a 3rd grade teacher. Watsonville is also the place where I grew up. After teaching in California for 3 years, I moved to Idaho and continued my teaching career as a Paraprofessional for 4 year. In 2007, I completed my M.A. in Bilingual Education through Boise State University (BSU). In 2007 I became the fourth grade English teacher for Woodside Elementary School, now Alturas Elementary. Since then, I have been a teacher at this school.
