What does being engaged in learning look like?  How do you become engaged in your learning?  Ms. Cashman presented a type of painting to third grade students called 'Still Life' painting.  As third grade students, Ms. Cashman stated that developmentally they are honing their skills of concentration and focus.  She set up a vase with artificial but colorful flowers and the students drew and painted their own interpretation of the flowers.  The students demonstrated sustained focus and creativity on their art projects and they also enjoyed this project.  Ms. Cashman got this idea from some friends, they had their children's still life flower painting on their walls framed in their home.

Pintura de Bodegones

¿Cómo se ve estar involucrado en el aprendizaje? ¿Cómo te involucras en tu aprendizaje? La Sra. Cashman presentó un tipo de pintura a estudiantes de tercer grado llamada pintura Pintura de Bodegones. Como estudiantes de tercer grado, la Sra. Cashman declaró que, en el desarrollo, están perfeccionando sus habilidades de concentración y enfocarse. Ella preparó un jarrón con flores artificiales pero coloridas y los estudiantes dibujaron y pintaron su propia interpretación de las flores. Los estudiantes demostraron un enfoque sostenido y creatividad en sus proyectos de arte y también disfrutaron de este proyecto. La Sra. Cashman tuvo esta idea de algunos amigos, tenían la pintura de bodegones de unas flores de sus hijos en las paredes enmarcada en su hogar.
