Firemen and Firewomen Teach Students How They Protect Against Fires and Smoke 

Fascination and wonder was on the faces of Kindergarten students as they watched a firefighter, a lady firefighter, crawl in front of them wearing full firefighter gear.  This was one of the lessons presented by the Hailey Fire Department to the students about keeping themselves safe.  They practiced how to call for help and the students learned about the tools on the fire truck that firefighters use to protect people.  The students learned some new terms and were shown how important common items like ladders and hoses can be vital in protecting these same students in case of fire.  

Bomberos y Bomberas Enseñan a los Estudiantes cómo Protegen contra Incendios y Humo

La fascinación y la maravilla estaban en los rostros de los estudiantes de Kindergarten mientras observaban a un bombero, o es decir una bombera, que se arrastraba frente a ellos con todo el equipo de bombero puesto. Esta fue una de las lecciones presentadas por el Departamento de Bomberos de Hailey a los estudiantes sobre cómo mantenerse seguros. Practicaron cómo pedir ayuda y los estudiantes aprendieron sobre las herramientas en el camión de bomberos que los bomberos usan para proteger a las personas. Los estudiantes aprendieron algunos términos nuevos y se les mostró cómo los elementos comunes importantes como escaleras y mangueras pueden ser vitales para proteger a estos mismos estudiantes en caso de incendio.
