Live Historical Wax Museum
Third Grade Live Wax Museum
The third grade class worked for weeks to prepare their 'live' wax museum project. Each student researched, and wrote factual information that they presented to the 'patrons' of their wax museum. They highlighted the historical significance of their person and created a well organized board with illustrations and short facts. They also dressed up to represent their historical person and prepared a short oratory with an emphasis on how their historical person was important to the world. A lot of the students commented they were nervous but they thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
La clase de tercer grado trabajó durante semanas para preparar su proyecto de museo de cera "en vivo". Cada estudiante investigó y escribió información objetiva que presentó a los "clientes" de su museo de cera. Destacaron el significado histórico de su persona y crearon un tablero bien organizado con ilustraciones y hechos breves. También se vistieron para representar a su persona histórica y prepararon una breve oratoria con énfasis en cómo su persona histórica era importante para el mundo. Muchos de los estudiantes comentaron que estaban nerviosos, pero disfrutaron la experiencia.
