Seeking Community Members to Serve on Board Advisory Committees

The Blaine County School District Board of Trustees is once again seeking community members to serve on its board advisory committees. The individuals serving on these committees play a crucial role, providing direct input and making recommendations to board members throughout the year.

The goal of the advisory committees is to reflect our student population and our community to assist the board with critical decisions. Committee members must meet at least one of the following criteria:

Be a resident and/or taxpayer of Blaine County
Be a parent/guardian of a BCSD student
Be a BCSD staff member
Be an expert or professional, as stipulated in Board Policy

The Board of Trustees is seeking committee members who can clearly communicate the committee’s findings, commit to attending at least 75% of meetings, collaborate effectively with other members and district staff, and have no relations with or employment under school board trustees or district administrators. Committee members will serve for two years. Terms start October 1, 2024.
