WRHS Drama Students to Perform ‘Almost Maine’ This Fall

Wood River High School drama students will perform “Almost Maine” in late September and early October!

The play, written by John Cariani, features several short stories that explore love and loss in a small town in Maine. Close to 40 students are involved, including performers, set builders, painters, promoters, ushers, backstage staff, stage managing, and running the light and sound boards!

Showtimes are 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 29 and Thursday, September 30. There’s also a 7 p.m. show on Friday, October 1, along with a 1 p.m. matinee on Saturday, October 2.

Tickets are $8 for adults; $5 for HS students, veterans and senior citizens; and $3 for middle/elementary students. All performances are at the WRHS Performing Arts Theater. All tickets can be purchased from the box office at the theater which opens 30 minutes before showtime. Masks will be required for entry.

Congratulations to our students, who have worked very hard to get through the first week as we prepare for the production later this fall!
