The Board of Trustees recently approved a pilot program for current, full-time classified staff who are interested in obtaining either a teaching certificate and/or a bachelor's degree plus teaching certificate, with preference for certain hard-to-fill teaching positions. The District will compensate qualified and approved staff up to $5,000 for Year One books, tuition, and fees for an accredited teaching program. Approved Year One participants will automatically be eligible up to $5,000 for Year Two participation.
