Early Notification of Retirement Program

The Board of Trustees approved an ongoing financial incentive program for those staff retiring at the end of the school year. The intent of the Early Notification of Retirement Program is to assist the District in the planning and recruitment process for vacancies in the following school year.

 

If you have decided to retire at the end of this school year, please contact Human Resources.

 

For certified and administrative staff:  

  • An early notification of retirement incentive of $2000 if notification is provided to the Human Resources Department on or before January 15, 2024.

  • An early notification of retirement incentive of $1000 if notification is provided to the Human Resources Department on or before February 15, 2024.

 

For classified staff:  

  • An early notification of retirement incentive of $1000 if notification is provided to the Human Resources Department on or before January 15, 2024.

  • An early notification of retirement incentive of $500 if notification is provided to the Human Resources Department on or before February 15, 2024.

 
Payment of the incentive occurs as part of a staff member’s final paycheck, either June or August, based on the employee’s current contract.
