My name is Cassidy Slone, and I am the K-2 Literacy Coach and Reading Intervention teacher. Before becoming a reading teacher, I taught kindergarten and second grade.

I moved from San Diego in 2017 with my husband Cary and my son Palmer to enjoy a life in the mountains. I grew up in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Montana State University, Bozeman. 

I feel fortunate and appreciate how lucky I am to be a part of such an innovative, supportive, and committed school like Hailey Elementary. It is an amazing school. I feel honored to be a part of such a wonderful community of students, teachers, and parents. 

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, paddleboarding and anything near the water!
