Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, I moved to the Wood River Valley in 1994 after graduating from Middlebury College with a BA in Art History. After many years of trying to make that Art History degree work, I returned to graduate school to earn a Masters in Education from the University of Idaho. I have been a special education teacher in Blaine County School District since 2005 and have been the 8th grade Resource Room teacher at Wood River Middle School since 2013. I enjoy spending my free time playing outside with my husband and three children, traveling to see family and friends, and rare, quiet moments curled up with a book.
