I have had the amazing opportunity to teach in grades ranging from Kindergarten to third grade and currently PE.   I graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of Washington and then really decided that I wanted to be a teacher and so continued my education at Seattle Pacific University where I received my Masters of Arts in Teaching degree. I love what I get to do!  A lot of my teaching philosophies are inspired by my own two boys, who really show me what kids want and need to be self motivated learners. When I'm not at school, I can be seen with my family playing whatever sport they are into at the time or up in Alaska on our commercial fishing boat.
