I have had the amazing opportunity to teach in grades ranging from Kindergarten to third grade and currently P.E.   I graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of Washington and then really decided that I wanted to be a teacher and so continued my education at Seattle Pacific University, where I received my Masters of Arts in Teaching degree. I love what I get to do!  A lot of my teaching philosophies are inspired by my own two boys, who really show me what kids want and need to be self-motivated learners. When I'm not at school, I can be seen with my family playing whatever sport they are into at the time or up in Alaska on our commercial fishing boat.
