Teaching comes from the heart and my heart has always loved being a teacher. I joined the Bellevue Elementary staff in 1999 as a Kindergarten Teacher and have continued to enjoy my time here at Bellevue teaching kindergarten. I love the excitement of a new school year and watching children blossom as the year comes to an end. Each school year is special as it brings a wonderful, eager and exciting group of new kindergartners! As an early childhood professional it is my goal to create a learning environment where all children see themselves as successful learners and valuable members of our school community! I received my BS degree in Elementary Education and my A.A. degree in Early Childhood Education form the University of Montana. I started my teaching career in Montana where I taught kindergarten, Title I reading, math and language arts, and preschool. I have enjoyed teaching for 24 years and look forward to many more exciting years!
My husband and I have lived in Bellevue for 19 years and are the parents of boy/girl twins. On the weekends I enjoy spending time with my family exploring our wonder valley and all of the amazing things it has to offer.
I look forward to meeting new students and families and I am excited for them to be part of our Bellevue Elementary Community!
